The coming together of two great companies to form one remarkable entity; Purple Cow Organics LLC is a leader in premium organic growing mediums and other beneficial reuse solutions.

This merge was formed from:

2nd Season Recycling – Dane County Wisconsin

Yard and brush residuals from area communities have been repurposed into STA certified compost, landscape and erosion control materials, environmentally responsible colored mulch and bio-fuel. Additionally, tens of thousands of tons of asphalt shingles have been diverted from the Dane County landfill for the beneficial reuse in the construction of parking lots, highways and other paving projects.

White Oak Farm – Oconomowoc / Greater Milwaukee Area

A long-time producer of quality bulk and bagged organic soil amendments, WOF organics conversion services annually processes and diverts over 50,000 tons of material from the Milwaukee area landfills. WOF has forged strategic alliances with bio-gas producers, organic agricultural fertilizer producers and has establish a number of retail products, most notably Purple Cow Activated Compost, Purple Cow Transplant Mix, Soilife Compost, Ener-Gro, and Father Doms Compost.

Notable achievements include:
