Like lots of great business ventures, 2nd Season Recycling grew out of a single solution to a client problem. The City of Middleton asked Lee Bruce and the Bruce Company about assisting the City with an ever-growing pile of yard waste which was accumulating in their refuse district.

2nd Season Recycling was born June 2008. This name had a personal meaning to the original founder of The Bruce Company, Lee Bruce, who began the original Bruce Company operations at age 12, plowing gardens during the summers off from school. Lee considers this venture his 2nd Season as well as giving each by product a 2nd Season through the recycling process.
